ACLU of Texas, Houston Chapter, holds annual meeting; civil rights award to State Representative Harold V. Dutton, Jr. (District 142, Houston); special presentation to attorney Alvin Bronstein, the founder of the ACLU Prison Project

The Houston Chapter of the ACLU will hold its annual meeting this evening. Our special guest will be Representative Harold V. Dutton, Jr., District 142 (Houston), who will receive an award honoring his contribution to the furtherance of civil rights in Texas. Will Harrell, Executive Director of the ACLU of Texas, will also make a special presentation to attorney Alvin Bronstein for his outstanding work on prison litigation.
